Applications due Sept. 11 for funds to train software, tech & manufacturing workers

Manufacturers and companies with IT, software and technology employees may qualify for funding to train their workforce.

Applications are due Friday, September 11 for the ProSTEP Employee Training Assistance Fund. Offered through the Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council (SWWDC), ProSTEP offsets employers’ training costs for existing employees in certain advanced manufacturing and IT/software/technology occupations.

Companies must be located in Clark, Cowlitz or Wahkiakum counties.
