Wells Fargo will donate $1,000 to Miracle League of Vancouver through its Volunteer Service Award program in honor of employee Heather Shove of Vancouver.
The 36-year-old program gives cash grants to nonprofits on behalf of Wells Fargo employees to recognize the valuable contributions they make to local organizations and schools.
Shove works for Wells Fargo in Vancouver as a mediation specialist. She has volunteered for Miracle League of Vancouver for two years and currently serves on its board of directors. The baseball league is for players with physical or mental disabilities.
“Heather has shown an extraordinary commitment to her community,” said Tracy Curtis, Wells Fargo’s regional president for Southwest Washington and Oregon. “Her giving spirit not only helps her community, it also helps us as a company better determine how we can support and enhance this region.”
