Invitation to Bid
The Port of Ridgefield, pursuant to RCW 39.04.020, 53.08.120, and 53.08.130, solicits bids for a licensed Excavation Subcontractor or General Contractor to furnish trained personnel, equipment, and materials to execute work consisting of: Stripping, Excavation, Grading, Cement Treatment and Erosion Control for 3.74 acre Lot 4, and Stripping, Excavation, and Erosion Control of the adjacent 3.49 acre Lot 5, both located on South 11thStreet in Ridgefield, WA. This bidding document packet is available on or after the hour of 9:00 A.M. on July 11, 2016 at the Offices of Mackenzie, The Hudson Bldg, 101 East 6th Street, #200, Vancouver Washington. One complete bid set including all Specifications and Drawings can be downloaded digitally or bidders may make arrangements directly with J2 Blue Print Supply Co., located at 8100 NE St Johns Road, Suite B101, to purchase printed copies. Printed plans and specifications are available for the cost of reproduction.
An optional, but strongly recommended, pre-bid conference and site walk will be held at Lot 4 on South 11th Street at 2:00 PM on Tuesday July 19, 2016. All bids must be submitted by 2:00 PM PDT on Friday July 29, 2016 to the Port of Ridgefield Office, 111 West Division Street, Ridgefield, Washington. The Port will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on or before August 5, 2016. The projected start date for the work is August 15, 2016
