First job: My first job was as a babysitter, but my first real tax-paying job was for Gilmore Research Group as an assistant supervisor at 16 years old.

Fun fact: I’m first generation American and grew up speaking Russian as a primary language in my childhood. I was 13 when I tasted my first “Burger.” Loved it. No one at my school ever wanted to trade borscht or sour cream herring sandwiches for chips!

Favorite spot on a Saturday night: Live theatre! I received a scholarship to the University of Portland in Speech and Theatre in 1978 and love a good show.

Favorite movie: “To Kill a Mockingbird”

Music of choice: I love the Kings of Leon. I adore Billie Holiday. I am all over the map!

Favorite place to eat: I have too many favorites. I think I most enjoy eating at home and my son telling me I’m the best cook in the world – even though I know I’m not.

Motto/Inspirational quote: “When someone shows you who they are believe them; the first time.” – Maya Angelou
