Women buy Broadway building for wellness center

Vancouver naturopath Cynthia Bye and real estate investor Kim Vine bought a two-building, 5,831-square-foot office complex at 2400-02 Broadway St. in Vancouver to open a wellness center called Broadway Natural Health.

The Hans and Gesine Van Der Meer Trust sold the buildings, which are attached, for $865,000.

Bye is in the process of relocating her practice, Journey to Wellness, from 315 E. Evergreen Blvd. to one of the buildings, which leaves 4,000 square feet open for lease.

Vine and Bye are hoping for a tenant that provides services conducive to the holistic health concept, such as yoga, tai chi or counseling.

Vine said the women are excited about Bye’s expansion as well as the development of downtown Vancouver.

Charlie Kleier and Doug Bartocci of NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson represented the Bye and Vine, and Mike Thomas of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in the transaction.

Bartocci is acting as the leasing agent.
