Battle Ground Clinic joins Providence Medical Group

Battle Ground’s Mountain View Medical Urgent Care has joined Providence Health & Services. The clinic began operating as Providence Medical Group-Battle Ground earlier this month.

Elizabeth Lee, M.D. and Kathleen McCormick, M.D. continue to be providers at the clinic.

“Providence is a leader in medical care with a proven commitment to serving small communities and improving health care,” said Dr. Lee. “We’ve wanted to expand our practice to include primary care services for some time now and joining Providence will allow us to pursue that opportunity.”

Tricia Roscoe, chief executive for Providence in Clark County and Southwest Washington, said the merger provides area residents with access to Providence’s extensive network of hospital services and specialty care physicians.

“This partnership improves our ability to deliver quality care and provide additional services to residents of Battle Ground and Southwest Washington,” said Roscoe. “The physicians at this location have built a strong connection with the local community and Providence is proud to be able to help that relationship continue to grow by adding new services and options for care.”

This is the second expansion of Providence Medical Group into Southwest Washington. Providence also operates a clinic in Vancouver at 315 Southeast Stone Mill Drive, and plans to open a new clinic in Camas this August.

The urgent care clinic has served the Battle Ground community since 2004.
