When David and Michelle Adams firs took over Miller’s Heating & Air from the Miller family in 2007, the company had a total of three employees and brought in $1 million in business each year.

Now, 12 years later, David said the company has grown to 29 employees and does $4 million in business each year.

Miller’s Heating & Air was started by the Miller family in 1947 and offers residential heating and cooling services, including but not limited to installation of new equipment, service, repair, duct cleaning, duct sealing, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and zoning.

“Michelle and I purchased the business in 2007 from the Miller family,” David said. “We made the choice to purchase Miller’s Heating & Air because we were looking to expand the HVAC company that we started in Astoria – All Phase Heating & Cooling. After moving to Vancouver from Astoria, we saw a wonderful opportunity with Miller’s to serve the local area as well as grow our business.”

Originally, David said they moved to Clark County from Astoria to help a local church in the area – Faith Center Church.

“We had a good relationship with Pastor Glen Johnson and wanted to support the church, church staff and the surrounding community,” David said. “It made sense for us to continue using our HVAC skills to support the local community in Clark County just as we had previously done in Astoria.”

David said that the company’s focus is primarily residential heating and cooling; they do very few commercial and construction jobs.

“This sets us apart from other heating and cooling companies in our area as the majority of our time and efforts are spent supporting local homeowners,” he said. “We are committed to serving our customers and their systems for as long as they live in the area.”

In order to accomplish these things, David said Miller’s has a large service department consisting of seven trained professional technicians who are skilled at service, repair, IAQ, zoning, etc. He said they even offer 24/7 emergency services because they understand that issues can occur outside of their business hours.

“If you have a problem with your heating and/or cooling system, we are here to help,” David said.

David said that the reason Miller’s Heating & Air stands apart is because of their team.

“We have the best service techs, installers, office staff, etc.,” David said. “Our culture is one of professionalism, friendliness and thoroughness. Because of our culture and the way our staff interacts with customers, we have the industry’s leading maintenance plan program. Our Google reviews reflect the overwhelming positive customer experiences. In addition, we are good at marketing ourselves and our culture to the local community.”

Miller’s Heating & Air is located at 6109 NE Hwy 99, in Vancouver. They can be reached at 360-524-2880.
