Washington State Fairs Association honors Clark County Fair

The Clark County Fair received recognition in 12 categories this year at the Washington State Fairs Association (WSFA) convention, held late last month in Pasco.

The fair was awarded for its informational poster, and recognized in a variety of photo and costume categories.

“I’m very proud of our marketing team, vendors and suppliers who work to position and promote the Clark County Fair as a top entertainment option and community resource, year after year,” said Matt Ferris, director of marketing for the Clark County Fair.

Additionally, WSFA named John Morrison, fair manager and CEO of the Clark County Fair, as their new president. Morrison will now represent 66 Washington state fairs and events, lobbying on their behalf and promoting fairs and their importance in educating the public on agriculture.

“This is one of the top honors of my career in the fair industry. I’m so proud to represent all the fairs in our great state of Washington, and will do my best to serve the board,” said Morrison.
