PeaceHealth buys Bellingham surgery center

The Bellingham Herald reported in late January that Vancouver-based “PeaceHealth has reached an agreement to acquire a Bellingham physician-owned surgery center.

“Under a proposed agreement, PeaceHealth would acquire the assets of Pacific Rim Outpatient Surgery Center. The agreement requires regulatory approval and a decision on the acquisition is expected to happen in March or April, according to a joint statement from the buyer and seller.”
