RSV wins two BIA awards
Vancouver-based construction company RSV Building Solutions recently won two 2009 Building Excellence Awards from the Building Industry Association of Clark County in the categories of New Commercial/Industrial (under $3 million) for the Agave Jeans building in Ridgefield and in New Commerical ($3 million to $10 million) for the Alan Webb Mazda/Dodge dealership in Vancouver.
"We are very excited to receive these awards as they are a reflection of what we do best, which is providing solutions to complex problems and delivering exactly what our clients need to be profitable," said Ron Frederiksen, president of RSV.
Hasson "Best of Vancouver"
Hasson Company Realtor's Vancouver office has been selected for the 2009 Best of Vancouver Award in the real estate category by the U.S. Commerce Association.
The award recognizes local businesses throughout the country for their exceptional marketing success.

Credit unions grow by 10 percent
During the third quarter of 2009, 173,464 consumers joined at least one of Washington state's 119 credit unions, according to Callahan & Associates, a Washington, D.C.-based firm specializing in credit unions.
"Media reports on problematic banks seemingly have made Washingtonians suspicious of profit driven financial institutions, especially big Wall Street banks," said Washington Credit Union League president and CEO John Annaloro, adding "10 percent yearly growth was unheard of prior to this extraordinary migration to credit unions."
ASI focuses on accessibility
David Maret launched ASI Consulting, LLC last month in order to inspect building sites in regards to accessibility. ASI also provides design, evaluation and other needs in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The business is located at 6405 N.E. 116th Ave. in Vancouver.
