Excellence in building

The Building Industry Association of Clark County has recognized 11 projects for their innovation, uniqueness, quality and safety.

In the commercial categories, the award for Renovated Commercial under $3 million went to M.J. Olson Enterprises for Olson Historical Renovation, Phase II. The award for Renovated Commercial $3 million to $10 million went to RSV Construction Services Inc. for City Bible Church Vancouver Campus. The award for New Commercial over $10 million went to S.D. Deacon for Hazel Dell Towne Center.

The award for New homes under $300,000 went to New Tradition Homes for Sixth Street Station. The award for New Homes from $300,000 to $500,000 went to Pacific Lifestyle Homes for The Kirkland. The award for New Homes from $500,000 to $750,000 went to M.J. Olson Enterprises for Fredrickson Home. The award for New Homes over $750,000 went to M.J. Olson Enterprises for Schultz Home. The award for Best Multifamily Project went to Kimball Custom Homes Inc. for Balcony Summit.

In residential remodels, the award for Residential Remodel under $100,000 went to Skill Remodeling Inc. for Kaulitz Home. The award for Residential Remodel $100,000 to $200,000 went to T Square Remodeling Inc. for Phillips/Smith Home. The award for Residential Remodel over $200,000 went to Kashas Construction Inc. for Olsen/Fennimore Home.

The awards were given out the organization’s dinner meeting Oct. 16.
