School and neighborhood ranking site Niche has released its 2016 ranking of the best school districts in Washington state.
Niche ranked the districts using a number of factors including academics, health and safety, culture and diversity, teachers, resources and facilities, extracurriculars, sports and fitness. They also took into account responses from a parent/student survey.
Ranked #5 overall in the state, Camas was the only district in Southwest Washington to receive an overall “A” grade from the site. Evergreen School District, ranked #41 in the state, received a “B+.” Also in the top 100 were: Hockinson School District (#66, “B” grade), Ridgefield School District (#86, “B” grade) and Vancouver School District (#90, “B-” grade).
