Board seeks applicants for three Railroad Advisory Board positions

The Board of Clark County Councilors is seeking applicants for three positions on the Railroad Advisory Board.

The 15-member board advises the county about its 33-mile railroad known as the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad. The board considers how to best achieve long-term return on investment in the railroad, leverage the railroad as an economic development asset, and address concerns of stakeholders and constituents affected by the railroad.

The county seeks applicants with experience in industrial real estate development, industrial real estate brokerage, land-use law and neighborhood association participation.

Those interested are asked to submit a letter and resume to Jennifer Clark, Board of County Councilors, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000 or email jennifer.clark@clark.wa.gov.

The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23.
