JAMIE HOWSLEY

Attorney Jamie Howsley has been added to the board of directors of the Responsive Leadership Institute (RLI), a Vancouver-based nonprofit that promotes the economic development agenda developed by local countywide business organizations.

“Jamie’s solid roots in Southwest Washington, combined with his governmental affairs experience and his in-depth legal background in economic development policy will bring a balanced political savvy and legislative understanding to our current board and support RLI’s long term goal of identifying, developing and supporting moderate elected leaders in Southwest Washington,” said RLI Executive Director Paul Montague

A practicing attorney since 2001, Howsley has developed a comprehensive knowledge of land use, governmental affairs, environmental and real estate development law. His 13 years of legal experience includes work at Lane Powell and Miller Nash, and he currently works as an attorney and shareholder at Jordan Ramis PC.

Howsley serves on numerous nonprofit and community boards including Columbia River Mental Health Services and the Clark County Development Engineering Advisory Board. He studied history and political science at the University of San Diego, obtained his master’s degree in political science at the American University in Washington, D.C., and earned his law degree at Willamette University.
