Vancouver housing advocate honored by Bank of America
Julie DeSmith of YW Housing received $5,000 for nonprofit use at Bank of America’s Neighborhood Excellence Initiative event. DeSmith is the director and founder of YW Housing which helps to provide affordable housing linked with community resources to homeless women and children in Clark County. She plans to use the award money to continue this work.
