BIA hires public affairs director
The Building Industry Association of Clark County has hired Ann Rivers as political affairs director. Rivers has been working in campaign management and public affairs for more than 11 years. She also has a degree in Political Science from Central Michigan University. Rivers will be assuming many of Joel White’s former duties as he moves on to become executive director at the Spokane Home Builders Association.
Steve Madsen, BIA legislative advocacy director and staff counsel, will now oversee the department as governmental affairs director. Former communications director Mike Bomar will serve as the public relations director.
