The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill one of three Clark County positions on the seven-member Board of Trustees for the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District.
The position is designated for a Clark County resident living outside the Vancouver and Camas city limits. The person selected will fill an unexpired term from Jan. 1, 2012 to Dec. 31, 2014.
Library trustees are responsible for policies regarding the district’s 13 branch libraries, three bookmobiles and centralized library support services for about 455,000 people. The service area covers more than 4,200 square miles, including all of Clark County except Camas, all of Skamania and Klickitat counties and Woodland in Cowlitz County.
