Zenith Properties NW has hired Barry Sullivan as a buyer’s agent.

In his new role, Sullivan will work to expand Zenith’s service offerings to existing clients. He will also bring on new real estate clients.

Sullivan has a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Oregon. He has experience running his own business in Vancouver for 15 years, where he was involved with many local Clark County charities and communities.

Additionally, Sullivan has partnered in customer home investing, building, design and sales. He has bought and sold homes since 1998, gaining knowledge of the real estate industry.

Bruce Evans recently joined the Humane Society for Southwest Washington (HSSW) as vice president/director of finance after retiring from a career in finance for large energy corporations.

A resident of Vancouver, Evans recently served as executive vice president at the Oregon Electric Group where he managed the company’s budgeting and forecasting system. In addition, he oversaw accounting, administrative and purchasing functions. He will continue in a similar role with HSSW.

Evans received his bachelor of science degree in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting, from the University of Nebraska. He formerly held his Certification of Public Accounting from the State of Nebraska and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Electrical Contractors Association and Construction Finance Management Association.

Bruce Davidson, president of Vancouver-based Davidson & Associates Insurance, has been elected president of the Safeco Insurance Advisory Council for the Northwest Region for 2016.

The council plays a critical role in helping Safeco improve the experience for both customers and independent agent partners, the company said.

Davidson will also serve on Safeco’s National Council – a collaborative, agent-driven forum that has helped Safeco partner with agents for more than a decade. Approximately 140 agents sit on eight regional councils, and the elected officers of each regional council comprise the National Advisory Council.

“The advisory councils provide value for everyone – customers, agents and Safeco,” said Davidson, who has owned his agency for 25 years. “The process helps agents work more closely with Safeco, and allows us all to provide better customer experiences. It’s an honor to serve as president of the regional advisory council.”

Jan ReddingJAN REDDING

Jan Redding has joined the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington’s Board of Directors.

Redding has been with Vancouver Public Schools for the past 21 years. During most of that time, she has been the assistant director of the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools. The Foundation is an independent, educational nonprofit corporation which works to support Vancouver Public Schools (VPS).

Redding previously served on the Free Clinic’s board from 2000 to 2003. She is a lifelong resident of Vancouver and is married with two children.
