More than 110 volunteers teamed up at the Gardner School of Arts & Sciences in Vancouver last month as part of Comcast Cares Day.
Comprised of local Comcast NBCUniversal employees and their friends and families, volunteers painted the school house, built a fence, trimmed trees, and revitalized the grounds.
Comcast Cares Day, which takes place each April during National Volunteer Month, is Comcast NBCUniversal’s companywide celebration of its year-round commitment to service. This year, more than 2,000 volunteers participated at more than 20 locations across Oregon and Southwest Washington.
The Comcast Foundation will also provide grants to local community partner organizations across the country on behalf of everyone who volunteers on Comcast Cares Day.
