Movers & Shakers: 12/27/2013

Milam is the chief operating officer of On The Go Platforms, a venture-funded startup specializing in mobile programming. He has served in executive capacities with Northwest Natural, the Vancouver Symphony and the Salvation Army. He is also involved in the Special Olympics.

Milam succeeds Lisa Lowe, a managing partner of the Vancouver office of Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt, who will serve as immediate past chair. The organization also appointed Mark Feichtinger of Stoel Rives LLP to the position of vice chairman, Lance Killian of Killian Pacific to the position of secretary, and Steve Kenny of Columbia Credit Union to the position of treasurer.

The organization also welcomed Casey Wyckoff, the principal of LSW Architects in Vancouver, to its Board of Directors.

BRANDON McCUISTION

Dr. Brandon McCuistion of NW Injury & Rehab Center in Vancouver recently became certified in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego (SRISD), a research center devoted to the investigation of motor vehicle crash injury.

McCuistion joined NW Injury & Rehab Center in 2009. He earned a doctorate of chiropractic degree from the University of Western States.

KAREN KERVIN

Karen Kervin has joined U.S. Bank as vice president and community relations manager, reporting to Malia Wasson, president of U.S. Bank in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Kervin comes to U.S. Bank from the regional law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, where she was the chief marketing officer.

In her new role, Kervin will manage U.S. Bank Foundation grants to nonprofit organizations focused on the arts, economic opportunity and education. She will also oversee sponsorships for the Portland-Vancouver region, and will support local public relations and government affairs.
