11 Vancouver Breweries will be showcased during the 4th annual Vancouver Winter Brewfest at Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver this weekend (December 11-13). The event, which is also a fundraiser for Race to Remember and Vancouver’s Downtown Association, is operated by Vancouver-based Energy Events.

Vancouver breweries on hand include: Mount Tabor; Loowit; Heathen; Ghost Runners; Mill City; Fortside; Trapdoor; Doomsday and more. A complete list of breweries represented at Vancouver Winter Brewfest (WBF) can be viewed at www.vancouverwinterbrewfest.com.

In addition to highlighting local brewers, like last year WBF will feature five different beers from a “special region.” This year, that region is Germany.

“The WBF has become a fun holiday tradition for many Vancouver residents and we are turning the heads of Portland residents – not just because our Brewfest is fun, festive and well organized, but because Vancouver [is] booming in breweries and brewing great beer,” said Brian Davis, owner of Energy Events, in a press release.

Entrance into WBF is $27, which includes a commemorative mug, 10 tickets and $2 food script. Each ticket is good for a 2 oz. taste or 4 tickets for a 14 oz. beer.  To purchase tickets, volunteer or for general information, visit www.vancouverwinterbrewfest.com.

Vancouver Winter Brewfest is developed by Energy Events in collaboration with brewers, distributors, Vancouver’s Downtown Association, the City of Vancouver and other sponsors.
