More than 70 companies seeking employees will be promoting their job openings at a free hiring event for Veterans, Guard, Reserve and their eligible spouses on May 13.
The event, a partnership between WorkSource Vancouver and Joint Service Support, will be held at the Armed Forces Reserve Center at 15005 NE 65th Street in Vancouver from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Available job openings are in administration, finance, law enforcement, maintenance, management, sales, health care, hospitality, transportation and more. Companies represent government, nonprofit, technology, manufacturing, education, corrections, staffing agencies and a host of other industries.
