The Mount St. Helens Institute raised $106,000 during a dinner and silent auction held at the Vancouver Hilton last month. Proceeds from ticket sales and auction items will benefit the nonprofit’s science, education and stewardship programs.
Founded in 1996, the Mount St. Helens Institute’s mission is to advance understanding and stewardship of the earth through science, education and exploration of volcanic landscapes.
