The Washington State Department of Revenue will host a free workshop for new and small business owners in Vancouver on May 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at 8008 NE Fourth Plain Blvd, Suite 340.
Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. Attendees receive a workbook and reference guide to the department’s rules and regulations. Also, attendees may earn one continuing professional education (CPE) credit.
