Davidson & Associates Insurance in Vancouver has earned a 2016 Safeco Insurance Make More Happen Award for its community work with Beaches Charity Fund’s “Green Eggs & Ham, Sam I Am” program.
The award includes a $4,000 donation from Safeco to the Beaches Charity Fund program, which encourages early reading and connection between families with first graders in low income schools. The program serves the Vancouver and Evergreen school districts, as well as the Ridgefield and Camas school districts.
Davidson & Associates Insurance was selected for the award – which recognizes independent agents who demonstrate extraordinary volunteerism for a nonprofit organization – after the company volunteered for the “Green Eggs and Ham, Sam I Am” event in 2015.
The firm donated $1,000 to help fund the event, and all agency employees served at one or more of the elementary schools that participated during the week-long program.
