The Board of Clark County Councilors is seeking applicants to fill three volunteer positions on the Solid Waste Advisory Commission.
Commission members make recommendations to the Board of Clark County Councilors on solid waste, landfills, transfer stations, recycling, waste reduction and related issues.
Vacancies include one position representing citizens of Clark County at large; one representing citizens of Southeast Clark County, living south of 179th Street and east of State Highway 503; and one owner or employee of a business located in Clark County to represent business interests.
To be considered, residents of Clark County are asked to send a letter of interest and resume to Jennifer Clark, Board of Clark County Councilors, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver 98666-5000. Applications also may be sent by email to jennifer.clark@clark.wa.gov .
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday, August 14.
