Columbia Credit Union has been honored with an Award for Workplace Excellence by Peter Barron Stark Companies (PBS), based on the results of an employee survey conducted earlier this year.
The survey, which measures employee engagement and job satisfaction, was completed by 256 of the credit union’s 277 employees. Only organizations that achieve an overall favorable response exceeding 80 percent win the workplace award.
“We are extremely pleased with the results of our most recent survey,” said Columbia CU President and CEO Steve Kenny. “This survey confirms our high levels of employee engagement and job satisfaction both of which support our mission of providing exceptional service. What’s more, it clearly identifies Columbia Credit Union as not just one of the best financial employers in the United States, but one of the best employers across all industries.”
This is the sixth time Columbia Credit Union has received the Award for Workplace Excellence from PBS.
