Ask the candidates: WSU Vancouver to host Governor’s Debate

Washington State University Vancouver will host the Southwest Washington 2012 Governor’s Debate between Jay Inslee and Rob McKenna. The debate will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. on August 29 and will be broadcast live on KATU-TV.

This is the first Governor’s debate in Southwest Washington since 2004.

“It’s important for voters to have the opportunity to see the candidates and hear them discuss the issues and priorities they think are most important to our state and region,” said Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt in a press release. “We welcome the candidates to Vancouver and expect to have a robust and spirited debate.”
