GORDON RODEWALD

Tacoma-based Columbia Bank named Gordon Rodewald vice president and commercial banking officer of its new Vancouver branch scheduled to open in the Al Angelo Building in downtown Vancouver by the end of 2009. Rodewald, a resident of Vancouver, will be responsible for establishing and managing new commercial banking relationships in the Clark County market.

"We are very pleased to have Gordon on the team. We value his many years of experience in the Vancouver market," said Mark Brandon, senior vice president and Southwest Washington and Oregon regional manager. "He will be a great asset to us as we continue to grow in Southwest Washington."

Joining Columbia Bank in June, Rodewald has over 25 years of industry experience. Previously, he was a principal relationship manager at Wells Fargo Bank. Rodewald is a board member for the Cascade Pacific Council of the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Vancouver Rotary Club.

ELIZABETH DAWSON

Dr. Elizabeth Dawson joined Dermatology Associates in Vancouver as a general medical, pediatric and surgical dermatology specialist. Most recently, Dawson was a chief resident at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, Dawson studied at Yale University, the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and Cornell University Medical College. Dawson is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Women's Dermatologic Society.

PAUL McLINN & WAYNE NELSON

The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce recently elected its newest board of directors, as well as board officers. Office Manager Paul McLinn of Calderon Family Dentistry and General Manager Wayne Nelson, of Clark Public Utilities were voted in last week by the GVCC members to serve a three-year term. In addition, Eric Olmsted of On Line Support and Keith Wallace of Frumenti, Lander & Wallace, CPAs, were selected to serve a second term.

CRISANTO AGTANI

Crisanto Agtani recently joined Vancouver accounting firm Schiller & Company, P.C., as a staff accountant. Agtani has been practicing public accounting for over six years, with experience at local and national firms. He earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Agtani is also a veteran of the first Persian Gulf War.

MARSHALL STAGG

Schiller & Company, P.C., announced last week the hiring of Marshall Stagg as a staff accountant at the firm. A graduate of Walla Walla University, Stagg received his J.D. from the University of Houston in 2005 and his L.L.M. in Federal Taxation from the University of Washington in 2009. Stagg's prior work experience is in business, estate planning and federal tax issues.

BARRY KALIAN, NANCY VIUHKOLA, DAVID RIPP, SHANNA OBERG, & NATHAN LOREN

The Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce selected five new Board Members with terms effective Sept. 1. The new members are Barry Kalian of Underwriter Laboratories, Nancy Viuhkola of Georgia Pacific, David Ripp of the Port of Camas/Washougal, Shanna Oberg of IQ Credit Union and Nathan Loren of Nathan Loren Insurance & Financial Services.

The mission of the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce is to be the area's business advocate and to market Camas, Washougal and east Clark County to visitors, newcomers and residents.
