Manor Homes names new director of sales & marketing

Manor Homes has hired John Colgate as director of sales and marketing.

The company said Homes’ primary focus will be on sales operations as well as the creative marketing direction for Manor Homes. He is also the primary contact for on-site home sales at Village on The Glen, a community built by Manor Homes.

“John brings a great deal of talent and energy to our team. We’re excited to have him on board to facilitate our aggressive growth plans for 2011,” said Manor Homes President Randy Questad.

Colgate comes to Manor Homes after a three-year stint as vice president of operations for Pacific Tech Construction and seven years as director of sales and marketing for Rockford Homes Inc.

Colgate holds his real estate license in the state of Washington.

ROGER QUALMAN

Roger Qualman

NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson Executive Vice President Roger Qualman was recently honored with the NAI Global Chairman’s Award at NAI Global’s 2011 Convention in Las Vegas.

The award recognizes the NAI Business Director who best exemplifies the “right stuff” as it relates to the effective management of an NAI office.

Qualman has been with NAI NBS since 1985. He manages the company’s Vancouver office and oversees its industrial sales team, and is a partner in Norris, Beggs & Simpson Companies.

Matt Todd

Matthew Todd has earned the Building Energy Assessment Professional certification from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.

Todd is an owner with Vancouver-based Entek Corporation.

Entek, a heating and cooling company, specializes in how efficiently air is moving through the entire building in order to help its clients save energy and cash. 

KERI LIPPOLD

Keri Lippold

Keri Lippold with Windermere Real Estate has been awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation by the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the National Association of Realtors.

Lippold joins more than 16,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the SRES designation. All were required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in understanding the needs, considerations and goals of real estate buyers and sellers aged 55 and older.

DAWN HOLMBERG

Dawn Holmberg

Dawn Holmberg, the founder of AllRisk Auto Insurance in Vancouver, has returned to the independent agency as its owner and president.

Holmberg sold her interest in the business in 2005 with an agreement she could buy the business back if it ever went up for sale. AllRisk became available in late 2010, and Holmberg’s purchase closed last month.

“It is very exciting to be back,” Holmberg said. “AllRisk over the years has been a great place to work, with a staff and clientele that’s like family.”

Holmberg has completed an expansion of AllRisk’s office, which provides for more space and a more comforting and inviting environment for customers. She anticipates adding more services and an additional part-time staff member in the near future.

WESLEY BROWER

Vancouver-based On Line Support has hired Wesley Brower as a technology consultant. 

The tech company said Brower has more than 10 years of experience in computer network design and management. In addition, the company said Brower is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

“I am happy to be at On Line Support. The team environment fosters an atmosphere of cooperation and problem solving that leads to a higher level of support for the customer,” said Brower. “My coworkers are fantastic and their level of knowledge is second to none. In short, this is a technician’s dream work environment."
