GVCC hires Matt Hoffstetter as new membership sales executive

The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) has hired Matt Hoffstetter as its new membership sales executive.

GVCC said Hoffstetter will work with new members of the chamber and provide community outreach. He replaces Paul Montague who was recently promoted to executive director of Identity Clark County.

"Matt is a great representative of the chamber because he's deeply invested in the well-being of our businesses,” said Kelly Parker, GVCC president and CEO. “He enjoys working with people to help them succeed. We welcome him to our Chamber as he brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm.”

The chamber said Hoffstetter is a local resident with strong ties in the community and a long standing history of providing positive community service. He recently retired from the Red Cross after 32 years of service.

Miller Nash LLP recently announced that land use attorney James Howsley, who works out of the company’s Vancouver office, has been named to the 2011 Washington Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers Magazine.

This is the first year Howsley has been honored with the Rising Stars designation, which recognizes the top 2.5 percent of lawyers who are either under 40 or who have been in practice for ten years or less.

Prudential Northwest Properties, a locally-owned real estate services company, has announced the addition of Terri McCoy to its Columbia Tech Center team.

McCoy will serve as an associate broker at the Vancouver office, located at 17700 Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard, Suite100.

Prudential Northwest Properties is headquartered in Portland.
