For the first time the two most prestigious recognition programs in southwest Washington are combining to create the biggest and finest celebration of building and development ever. Especially in these challenging economic times it is more important than ever to celebrate the accomplishments of those who are leading us out of the recession.
Top Projects, in its seventh year will once again recognize the construction development projects across southwest Washington but with a bit of a different twist. The projects this year will be categorized in three areas: Commercial Development, Residential Development and Public Works. Projects in these categories will be ranked by cost of construction, not including cost of land or furnishings.
The Building Excellence Awards are changing a bit as well. These awards are conferred by a jury of building industry experts and awarded based on a set of criteria which each project is evaluated against. In addition to the three categories for Top Projects Building Excellence will also recognize landscaping projects.
Finally, one project from the seven categories will be awarded TOP PROJECT for 2010.
Submit a project for Vancouver Business Journal's Breaking Ground and nominate it for Top Projects magazine.
