Downtown Vancouver’s Riverview Tower sold for $18 million

Wyndhaven Mesa Partners LLC, which is affiliated with the Al Angelo Company in Vancouver, has purchased Riverview Tower from Mc Investments Inc. for approximately $18.75 million. The building is located at 900 Washington Street in downtown Vancouver.

According to public documents, the real estate transaction was finalized on Monday, August 31.

Craig Angelo, a partner with the Al Angelo Company, said the property management company had its eye on Riverview Tower for some time.

“We had been looking at that building for some time and thinking it would be nice to compliment the building we are currently in (at 400 E Mill Plain Blvd.),” said Angelo. “We wanted another Class A office building downtown to handle clients that we can’t handle here. We’re full in this building.

“I’ve always liked the building as far as its design and its location next to Esther Short Park,” he added. “It seemed like a natural add-on to our office inventory.”

Built in 1991, Riverview Tower is home to a number of businesses and serves as the headquarters for Riverview Community Bank. It also includes 26 residential units.

Angelo said the company is not looking to make any tenant changes and the name of the building will stay the same. However, he did indicate that some building improvements are on the way.

“We’ll have some design teams over there to see what needs to be done,” he said. “We’ll definitely have some lobby and interior improvements done.”
