Windermere Stellar helps raise $175,000 for Children’s Justice Center

Update: On Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, Windermere Stellar increased the amount raised for Children’s Justice Center from $125,000 to $175,000. The article has been revised to reflect that change.

Windermere Stellar announced today that its annual Children’s Justice Center Gala Auction raised $175,000 for the Children’s Justice Center, an organization that provides a safe haven for victims of child abuse.

The Vancouver branches of Windermere Stellar have now donated $288,300 to the Children’s Justice Center over the past four years.

“Witnessing the incredible generosity during the gala each year reinforces why we work so hard to further our foundation’s causes,” said Gerry Dowdy-Latshaw, Managing Principal Broker of Windermere Stellar’s Vancouver office. “We partner with the greater Vancouver community to make a difference in the lives of children and their supporting families in Clark County.”

In addition to raising money for the Children’s Justice Center, Windermere Stellar brokers participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation – a nonprofit organization that has raised and donated more than $2.5 million to programs that support low-income and homeless families in our region.
