Prestige Care honored for quality care

Prestige Care Inc., a provider of senior living and skilled nursing/rehabilitation care, has earned the 2015 Silver Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living.

The company was recognized for its commitment to achieving the highest level of patient performance and health care outcomes at its Discover Nursing and Rehab center in Vancouver. Prestige Care centers in Oregon City and Portland were also awarded.

“Centers that earn a Silver Quality award demonstrate a constant commitment to quality, striving to improve at every opportunity,” said Harold Delamarter, founding partner and CEO of Prestige Care. “That dedication guides our values-driven care philosophy at Prestige and we are incredibly proud of these three centers for their exemplary work.”

The AHCA/NCAL Quality Award program involves a progressive three-step process to encourage continuous learning and development of integrated, quality systems to achieve performance excellence.  Organizations apply for recognition and awards at three levels – bronze, silver and gold – each of which requires successful completion of the previous level, and a more detailed and comprehensive demonstration of quality integration and performance.

As a Silver Quality Award recipient, Prestige Care is now eligible to apply for the Gold Excellence in Quality Award next year. Last year, only six centers across the nation reached gold-level status.
