Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt will present the 2015 State of the City Address in the lobby of City Hall (415 W. 6th St.) on Thursday, March 26. The annual event will celebrate the city’s achievements, growth and progress over the past year, as well as future opportunities and initiatives.
The free event is open to the public and will start at 4 p.m. The Address will be followed at 5 p.m. by an informal social hour with the mayor and city council at Gray’s in the Park Bar and Grill, next door to City Hall in the Vancouver Hilton.
Highlighting the city’s involvement with the Innovation Partnership Zone, representatives from several tech companies located in downtown Vancouver, as well as students from WSU Vancouver’s Creative Media and Digital Culture program, will share examples of their work in the lobby.
The event will air live on Clark/Vancouver Television, channel 23 and HD channel 323, or can be viewed online at www.cvtv.org.
