Free Clinic of SW WA fundraiser tallies $200,000

The seventh annual Friends of the Free Clinic Holiday Ball raised $200,000 for the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington last month. The fundraiser was held at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver.

More than 230 people attended the gala. Funds were raised throughout the evening, with wine wall and jewelry auctions, a raffle and paddle raise.

Mark Matthias, co-owner of Beaches Restaurant, facilitated the program.

Presenting sponsor for the event was PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Other sponsorship support came from Kaiser Permanente, Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, Providence Health & Services, The Vancouver Clinic, Hidden Charitable Trust, Physicians Insurance A Mutual Company, Vancouver Pediatric Dentistry-Drs. Lubisich, Wells Fargo Advisors, Rand Jewelers, James & Randi Holland, Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP, Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery, Riverview Community Bank, Umpqua Bank, Molina Healthcare Washington, Inc., Southwest Washington Society of Optometric Physicians, Northwest Health Foundation and Vancouver Eye Care.

“We are so very grateful to the community members, sponsors and volunteers who help make this event one of the primo galas of the Holiday Season,” said Free Clinic Executive Director Barbe West.
