Christiansen Enterprises LLC to expand Kalama facility

Christiansen Enterprises LLC, a provider of dry kilns, parts and services for the forest products industry, is expanding its presence at the Port of Kalama.

A new lease will allow the port tenant to occupy 20,000 square feet of space, nearly doubling its original footprint. Christiansen moved into a 10,500-square-foot space at the Port of Kalama in 2013.

According to Joe Christiansen, owner of Christiansen Enterprises , the expansion provides the company with the ability to deliver on increasing demand for dry kiln services and to add custom fabrication to the mix.

“The Port of Kalama not only offers us an ideal location to serve our customers in the forest products industry, but they have supported our company growth in ways we couldn’t have expected,” said Christiansen. “We have grown 30 percent a year since moving to the port and expect to continue to increase our services to a new fabrication market.”
