Supporters and volunteers of Meals on Wheels People donated enough funds in just one hour to provide 36,500 hot meals to seniors in Clark County at the organization’s Spring Luncheon. The annual event raised $144,500.
More than 400 area business leaders and volunteers were in attendance at the event, which was held at the Vancouver Hilton earlier this month.
Columbia Credit Union was presenting sponsor of the event. Other sponsors included: Gramor, Northwest Pipe and Regence BlueCross BlueShield. Leadership gifts were provided by Jan and Steve Oliva, Pacific Die Casting and Wells Fargo. Paradym Events sponsored the centerpieces.
