BIA to distribute $1.9M to Clark County members enrolled in incentive program

Building Industry Association of Clark County (BIA) members participating in the Return on Industrial Insurance (ROII Select) program will receive a portion of a $1.9 million rebate later this month.

ROII is a group insurance program offered by the Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) that creates financial rewards for companies who reduce the frequency of injuries and the severity of their cost. The group receives refunds when the group’s premiums exceed their losses.

This year’s rebate is a 39 percent kickback on the workers compensation insurance premiums paid to L&I. Over the past three years, BIA members have enjoyed an average return of 38 percent.

Last year, the program served 1,852 companies statewide with $68 million dollars in premium base.
