MATT DEL GARBINO

Matt Del Garbino has joined Vancouver-based Victor Fitness as vice president and general partner.

Del Garbino comes to Victor Fitness as a veteran of the fitness industry and holds multiple fitness training certifications that include personal training, functional movement screening and Titleist golf fitness training. He was one of the previous owners and founders of Lake Oswego-based “Muscles in Motion.”

“I am extremely excited about Matt joining our team and the unique skill sets he brings to our organization,” said company president Bill Victor. “He is tenured in our industry, and in addition to his business acumen, will further our reach to a greater audience. His knowledge of strength training and working with golfers will solidify the position we have established in the marketplace.”

Founded in 2004, Victor Fitness serves as a wellness and fitness training center that works with a diverse population looking to improve functional abilities and strength. It also serves as the location for Victor Sports Performance Training, which specializes in athletic movement and sports performance training for scholastic and collegiate athletes.

The Parks Foundation of Clark County has hired Temple Lentz to serve as its next executive director.

Lentz is a founding member of High Five Media, working with local nonprofits to raise awareness, increase fundraising and community partnerships. She regularly contributes to the Vancouver Business Journal as a reporter and is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Clark County.

“We are extremely happy to bring Temple onto the Parks Foundation team,” said board president Megan Strand. ”She is deeply involved in and connected to this community. Her leadership and our strong board will be the perfect combination to propel the foundation to the next level.”

The Parks and Recreation Foundation of Clark County was established in 1999 to accept and administer donations, gifts and bequests for the enrichment and enhancement of our communities’ parks, trails and recreational programs.

Maxine DuffMAXINE DUFF

Columbia Title has hired Maxine Duff to serve as a marketing representative.

Duff has been in the title and escrow industry for 20 years working various job positions.

“I am truly grateful for each of these positions, as it has provided me with a different aspect and understanding of the business and also gives me added knowledge that I am able to share with others of the real estate process,” Duff said.

When away from work, Duff enjoys spending time with her grandkids and hiking outdoors.

Mike WallinMIKE WALLIN

Local real estate broker Mike Wallin has earned Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE) designation after completing extensive coursework related to the art of negotiation.

The certification training is provided by Negotiation Expertise LLC, a nationally-recognized training and coaching company based in Arizona.

“Completed over the past six years, this coursework has contributed to my negotiating success and it shows in my sales,” said Wallin. “I’ve learned so much in the course of earning this distinct designation, and I feel I am in an even better position for negotiating sales, and my clients benefit greatly.
