Webfor has hired Kevin Chow as its director of search marketing.

Chow has more than 13 years of experience in search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click marketing and conversion optimization.

In his new role, Chow will be responsible for overseeing the search marketing department and providing strategic guidance both internally to the Webfor team and externally to the company’s clients.

Prior to joining Vancouver-based Webfor, Chow was living in Orange County, California with his wife and two children while managing the SEO department at a local agency.

Chow started as a web designer in the late 90’s and learned SEO while attending Sonoma State University.

Tiffany Couch, principal at Acuity Forensics in Vancouver, has been elected to the 2016 Chair of the Board of Regents for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

The board is responsible for setting membership standards that promote professionalism and ensure the future of the organization as a whole. The ACFE is the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider of anti-fraud training and education.

Couch is also a faculty member for the ACFE, and teaches anti-fraud training courses throughout the United States and Canada. She has more than 18 years of experience in the field of accounting, with the last 11 years focused completely on forensic accounting related engagements.

Dr. Amit Gosalia of Audiology Clinic Inc. recently completed a three-year leadership term on the Board of Directors/Governors with the American Board of Audiology (ABA).

Gosalia ran for the board in 2011 and was elected by his peers. The ABA creates, administers and promotes rigorous credentialing programs that elevate professional practice, advance patient care and is the sole board-certifying organization for audiology.

As a board member, Gosalia helped to establish and monitor the standards and programs associated with board certification. He also chaired ABA Meet and Greet events at the national American Academy of Audiology conventions, chaired the finance committee and worked closely with audiology students nationally.

“As a medical professional, I firmly believe that educational and ethical standards must be met at the highest degree to ensure patients receive optimal care,” said Gosalia. “I am proud to not only take the extra steps to hold and maintain my board certification in audiology, but also humbled to have had the opportunity to be part of the leadership that affects change nationally.”

Based in Vancouver, Audiology Clinic has served Clark County for more than 33 years.

Heather WinkelHEATHER WINKEL

Vancouver-based LSW Architects recently announced the addition of Heather Winkel as an interior designer.

Winkel is a graduate from the Art Institute of Portland. She brings experience in hospitality design to LSW, having been involved in many hotel and restaurant projects for the past three years.
