The city of Ridgefield has hired Jeffrey Niten to serve as community development
director. Niten will join the city beginning March 3.

Niten has held various community development positions around the region, including work as a planner in Clark County for nearly ten years. In his new role, he will assume full management responsibility of the city’s long-range planning, development review and permitting, code enforcement and building services.

“Jeff’s experience, enthusiasm, customer focus and excellent problem-solving skills make him a great addition to the Ridgefield team,” said Ridgefield City Manager Steve Stuart.

Niten comes from a family with four generations of Ridgefield residents.

Megan Bauer has been promoted to account executive. In her new role, she will continue to support the consumer and technology practices with integrated PR campaigns, content development, media and blogger relations. Prior to Hoffman, Bauer worked with a myriad of consumer and technology clients; most notably on the consumer and Surface teams for Microsoft at Waggener Edstrom.

Callie Gisler joins the Hoffman Agency as an account coordinator, with previous consumer and technology experience. In her new role, she will manage content development and strategy for client blogs and social media channels. She also supports key influencer and media relations, and develops eye-catching content to help clients tell their stories both online and offine.

Kelly Stone joins the team as a senior account executive with an extensive background in technology communications. Her previous work includes large brands, such as Microsoft Windows and Outlook.com/OneDrive accounts, as well as startup companies. She most recently worked with Silicon Valley-based companies focused on enterprise cloud solutions, security and wearable devices.
