Mark Adams MD

MARK ADAMS

Mark Adams, MD, FACS, has been named chief medical officer for Vancouver-headquartered PeaceHealth.

In his new role, Adams will be responsible for leading clinical strategies in the $2 billion health system, including 10 hospitals, an 800-member multi-specialty group practice and a comprehensive laboratory.

Adam, 62, is currently community chief medical officer for CHI Franciscan Health system in Seattle, where he served most recently as chief medical officer and previously as vice president for medical affairs.

He has served on the Board of Directors for Cambia Health Solutions since 2009 and was the first practicing physician to serve on the American Hospital Association Board of Trustees, a post he held for three years. His background includes operating a private practice in thoracic and vascular surgery for more than 20 years.

Adams received both his master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania. He conducted his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Washington, and is board-certified in general and vascular surgery.

Joel MunsonJOEL MUNSON

Joel Munson has been hired as Clark College Foundation’s senior vice president of development.

Munson has worked in higher education for nearly 24 years. A senior executive at various universities and colleges, Munson has led development teams that have raised approximately $1 billion in philanthropic funds. He most recently worked in the United Kingdom where he helped to build advancement programs at two major universities. Previously, Munson headed fundraising efforts at the University of Oregon.

Munson graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in broadcasting and studied graduate intercultural communications at Barry University in Miami.

Clark College Foundation is a nonprofit organization serving as the fundraising partner of Clark College.

Andres JimenezANDRES JIMENEZ

Wells Fargo has appointed Andres Jimenez as manager of its Fisher’s Landing bank branch (19100 SE 34th St., Vancouver). Jimenez previously managed a Wells Fargo bank branch in downtown Portland for more than three years.

In his new position, Jimenez will manage the customer service, sales, professional development and community involvement efforts of six employees.

The Vancouver resident joined Wells Fargo in 2010 as a teller and later advanced to become a personal banker. Wells Fargo promoted Jimenez to branch manager in 2012.

Jimenez earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a minor in history at Portland State University. He volunteers as a board member for Familias en Accion and is a coach for Special Olympics.

GARRET HARPER

Eric Fuller & Associates Inc. recently announced the addition of Garret Harper to its commercial brokerage team.

Garret has been a commercial real estate broker in the Portland/Vancouver market since 2003, and has brokered more than $100 million worth of real estate transactions in the local market.
