Schulstad is the owner of The Uncommon Gift, a Camas-based boutique. She is also an active member in the Downtown Camas Association.
In addition to operating a business, Shulstad has organized community promotions regarding First Friday Events, Girls Night Out, Holiday Home Tour and other fundraisers.
In 2011, she was named the Citizen of the Year by the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce.
BRUCE DAVIDSON
Bruce Davidson, president of Davidson Insurance of Vancouver, has been appointed for a three-year term to the Safeco Insurance Pacific Northwest Agent Advisory Council. The council works with company leaders to identify opportunities for improvement, share feedback from Safeco insurance agents and influence policy and strategic direction of the company.
Davidson is one of 15 agents from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska serving on the regional council.

Allen Gabriel, a PeaceHealth Medical Group plastic surgeon, has been ranked among the top physicians in the nation based on patient reviews submitted through vitals.com.
Vitals.com grants its Patient Choice Awards to physicians who have received near perfect scores as voted by their patients. Out of the nation’s 720,000 active physicians, only 5 percent received the honor in 2012.
“I’m very pleased and grateful to see that my patients have taken the time to rate the quality of care and service they have received from our practice,” said Gabriel in a press release. “It is important information for us to track, so we know we’re meeting our quality and service goals and providing an extraordinary experience for all our patients.”
