On the Transportation Team, Susan Deen, Bart Hansen, Dustin Klinger, Doreen McKercher and Kelly Walsh created a resource toolkit for local high schools to encourage DUI awareness education and to reduce teen drinking and driving.  

On the Government Team, Rebecca Blaisdell, Eva Cobb, Madeleine Dulemba, Rod O’Hearn, Patti Romines and Dan Sockle designed and held a contest at Columbia River High School where students designed posters to encourage their peers to register to vote.

On the Environmental Team, Katie Bell, Travis Goddard, Dana Greyson, Debra Hentz, Terry Toland and Casey Wyckoff created a 12-month 2008 calendar in partnership with Clark County and the City of Vancouver to promote environmental issues and conservation efforts.

On the Youth Team, John Bockmier, Sheri Johnson, Darcey Reed, Angela Watkins, Brad Wood and Lori Wyrick partnered with the Fruit Valley Foundation, Vancouver School District and Vancouver Parks & Recreation to provide a weeklong summer camp for fifth graders from Fruit Valley Elementary, Hough Elementary and Washington Elementary to help them make the transition from elementary into Discovery Middle School.

On the Education Team, Chad Dillard, Janell Ephraim, Diana Fitzpatrick, Gary Folkerts, Kathy Kniep and Sue Stepan piloted a Math Buddies program at King Elementary School where community members mentor a student by playing fun math games with a student for 30 minutes a week.

On the social Social Services team, John Cameron, Judy Green, Greg McGreevey, Michelle Missfeldt, Vickie Moreland and Heidi Yewman helped to create a new organization that will be instrumental in serving those who suffer from mental illness in Clark County.
