Stewart Title opens one millionth online transaction
The Van Mall branch of Stewart Title of Western
Washington has opened the one millionth closing file in the SureClose
online transaction management system.

The Van Mall branch of Stewart Title of Western
Washington has opened the one millionth closing file in the SureClose
online transaction management system.
Stewart Title of Western Washington is a wholly
owned subsidiary of Stewart Title Co. SureClose is a product of Stewart
Realty Solutions, and is available for use by real estate brokers and
agents, lenders, title and escrow companies and other settlement
service providers. SureClose allows the buyer, seller, real estate
agents, lender and other parties access to their files anytime online.
Malcolm Morris, chairman of Stewart Title Co., came from Houston to
present Noah Blanton, Van Mall office manager, and Leslie DeFrees,
county president, with an award for the office’s accomplishment. The
Van Mall branch opened on May 1. The online transaction management
system has been deployed across the Stewart network over the past three
years and is installed in more than 850 Stewart-affiliated and
independent title agency offices and real estate offices.
Clark County Title celebrates 25 years
Clark County Title Company is celebrating its 25
years under the same ownership. The company has been at 1400 Washington
St. since 1991 with other branches in Camas, Hazel Dell and, most
recently, the Columbia Tech Center.
Clark County Title handles all types of real
estate transactions including builder services, property exchanges,
commercial, industrial and residential. The company also insures
properties in Skamania County.
The Management Group celebrates 20 years
Carmen Villarma, president and owner of The
Management Group celebrated the company’s 20th anniversary with a
recent ribbon cutting performed by the Greater Vancouver Chamber of
Commerce. A $500 donation from TMG was made to the Southwest Washington
Humane Society. A donation of $500 also was made to Walnut Grove
Elementary School to be used for children in need of shoes, coats and
school supplies.
