Home décor shop Distinctively Home, opened Aug. 20 and will have a grand opening celebration in mid-September.

Owners Becky and Derek Dunning of Battle Ground leased 2,098 square feet.

Fellow Battle Ground residents Rafael and Kimberly Rivera have leased 1,001 square feet to open Blue Castle Coffee, a coffee and sandwich shop.

Both businesses will be located in Building B – 802 S.E. 14th Ave. – which has 2,300 square feet remaining and is move-in ready.

Building A is nearly ready for tenants, said Linda Thomas, corporate development coordinator for The Management Group, which is leasing the space.

The Gold Medal Group is developing the 21-acre retail center, which will have 18 buildings total. Six more buildings are currently under construction.
