Top Projects Magazine & Building Excellence Awards, Thursday July 26, 2012 4:00 to 7:00 PM
At the Vancouver Business Journal, summer – or “construction season” – is the time to celebrate the accomplishments of the building industry by publishing Top Projects Magazine, a tribute to the contractors, architects, engineers and building industry professionals that are growing Southwest Washington and raising a toast at our annual event.
Joining the Vancouver Business Journal in producing this event is the BIA of Clark County and the SW Contractors Association. Sponsors for this year’s event include Biggs Insurance Services, NECA/IBEW, Simply Thyme Catering, Corwin Beverage, Arrow Roofing, Abacus Event Rentals, Mill Creek Pub, West Coast Bank and High Fidelity Entertainment.

In its ninth year, Top Projects will recognize construction projects categorized in three areas: Commercial Development, Residential Development and Public Works. Projects in these categories will be ranked by cost of construction, not including cost of land or furnishings.
The Building Excellence Awards, a recognition program of the Building Industry Association of Clark County, presented at the same event, are conferred by a jury of building industry experts and awarded based on a set of criteria which each project is evaluated against. Building Excellence Awards will recognize projects in Industrial/Commercial, Single-family and Multi-family Residential and landscaping projects.
